Perth has been hit with Winter storms and rain and high winds since last Saturday. The winds have been up to 125 whatever it is (I forget the term now) an
hour! The coast has had it the worst, I think with the seas really wild and choppy.

SE working overtime with trees down, even huge trees up rooted, and roofs blown off etc. It said on the news that 17,000 homes were without power. I had two
power cuts on Saturday night - it really spoiled my Saturday night regualr viewing on the ABC!...

You know I prefer not to think of chocolate as a health food - or even consider what type of chocolate is healthier.
I'd just prefer to have what I like in moderation as a treat rather then worry whether it's good for me or not.
I don't mind dark chocolate though not on it's own. Something with a filling like those mint chocolates are nice.

Yes, well, I'm persevering with dark chocolate, as it's supposed to be better for you - and I don't even like it! It's an aquired taste, but
I'm getting used to it! Give me the cream-filled chocolate anytime, especially fruit 'n' nut or peppermint, which goes nicely with a cuppa!

You are supposed to have the 70% cocoa dark chocolate, the more cocoa the better, which makes it even more bitter! I get one that's got raspberry chips in
it, as it actually...

We're back to sunshine now, but cold - 18 degs. The lotto was $99 million, I heard, but it got boosted to over the $100 million ($110 million, I think)
with all the last minute sales!

Yes, an SA man won it - it did cross my mind if it was you! Him and a Queensland couple got $53million to share! I don't know whether it was the man or
the couple - the man I think - who thought he'd won $2-$3 million, but the woman said he could add another $50 million onto that!

Weather's still been pretty bad here though not as windy as a day or two ago. We don't have any trees near power lines so that's not a problem.

The lotto wasn't quite a hundred million - I think it was only Ninety three million (hardly worth buying a ticket for really). I didn't buy a ticket
so... sorry there's no chance of me being the South Australian winner (whom I understand got 54 million of the total prize pool).

Naturally I prefer to work for...

If you've got any trees on your place, hope they are trimmed away from any power lines. No more power cuts so far. It's rained most of today (Tues,
30th June) and showers for tomorrow, then three fine days till Sunday.

They are about to draw the big (must be the mid-week one) lotto for over 100 million dollars! (don't know how to do all the noughts) They want to see if
anyone from WA will win it, as they say WA winners have been good. I didn't go out today, as...

I guess we're getting some of that weather now. Today has been blustery with the odd heavy shower and plenty of branches falling off trees. Fortunately no
real power cuts just the occasional power dip (probably from branches falling through power lines but not actually breaking them in any way).
