I clicked into a post that I hadn't used for ages in the computer bit ie: 'How do I......?' just to see what was there out of interest, and saw that my new photo was on there. I checked into other forums that I hadn't visited in ages, and it seems it's there in all now. Wonder when that happened.

I was reading in the 'How do I.....etc' and read I was asking how to put a profile photo on, and had done it but it hadn't worked, and it was because, you said in your reply, because it needed resizing or it wouldn't put it on. I knew I hadn't done that this time, but remembered about that, so I clicked into My Account to look.

I remembered that I just pointed the cursor at the photo where a flag came out to say, 'Change avatar photo'. It also showed my new photo on the right as well as the one on the left to show which I was using, and my other one was still there too with a Cancel button incase you think you won't ever need it again, I suppose. I pointed the cursor, and it seems you can put it back again if you want to.

There is also a blank one there with just a shaded outline of a person with , 'Default Photo' there. Maybe that's for if you don't want a photo on, especially if you are a quick visitor for maybe a 'one off'. There is a Browse button there now when you click on your photo if you are going to change it, as before, you had to put a photo in such as Photo bucket to create an URL to put on. Course, this is all since Yuku took over I think, as I don't know if the others had updated to all that, but it's much easier of course.

Yes, but I don't normally do a smilie with the keys, as you don't have to - as you must know, you just click to on the smilie face to open the panel at the top of your typing window, which I found out stays there whilst you're typing, you don't have to keep opening it.

That's what I mean when I say 'the smilies aren't working'. You didn't comment on the other stuff to say whether you'd noticed the changes for putting a photo on, but, then you wouldn't notice if it was the old way when you put your new one on.

I'll do the smilie with the keys then, but I want the panel back, as I want a choice, and I don't know how to do the others, but it would be a pain using the keys when there is a handy facilty - which isn't working! Try it and see - unless it's my comp!

I always use the 'Add Reply' button, because of it having the smilie button - I didn't know about the other smilie thing, so it's worth remembering.

If you click on the 'Add Reply' even if you aren't going to do a post, and try and see if your 'smilie' button is working, because mine still isn't. It sinks in when I click it, but nothing opens.

I probably was answering my own questions, but I thought you just might have said something like, 'Yes, you don't have to do that now, it's much easier' just to show that you'd noticed that as well. Just a detail. (can't use smilie button)
