Synopsis in front of TV mag in the highlights says it's about a grieving family whose 15yr old daughter has been missing for three years. He takes a job as a mini cab driver, after throwing his job in as a teacher, so he can search for her. In the actual column it says he moves in with a divorcee, assuming his marriage split with the stress, but that relationship is in turmoil when her daughter goes missing also, but don't know if that part is right, as they get it wrong sometimes, because it doesn't mention that in the other part. Should be good, and it will be nice to see him in another role after so long. The program after it 'The Thick Of It' is a new political comedy I think, not sure if it was Oz or not.
We also have Adam Hills on Thurs night on ABC in 'Adam Hills Live' at 8-35pm for 1hr, just to mention it here. I've only seen him once in 'stand-up' on one of the comedy festivals. He spoilt himself a bit by slipping the 'F' word, but I'll shut one ear to it if he does it again, as he's a good comedian, and very witty on Spicks'N' Specks, which is the final program for the year this week. There is going to be a program of 'A Very Specky Christmas' over the break though, which should be good.
The program after that called, 'Hair Tales' might be interesting. I saw the promo and it's about all outrages hair do's I think. I might have to take a risk and tape some of Thurs nights as I watch RPA, the medical program, and it's the final for the year .(have to get my DVDs out with all these programs finishing, but I've plenty of new ones to watch that I've bought, though it's things that I've seen before, and just want for my collection!) Then, 'This Is Your Life' is on before it at 8-30pm, but I don't know who's on it, as if it's a sports person, I'm not really bothered. Might tape those, as I can whiz the adds out when I watch them if they tape OK.
Discisions disicisions! (don't know if that's spelt right, but when you click the Spellcheck, it just says 'done' in yellow, and highlights the words in same, but doesn't correct it?) This post still goes on in a long narrow list on my comp!
CYA!
